Andrade loses the WWE United States Championship against Apollo Crews
WWE held the episode 1409 of Monday Night RAW at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, in whose first match of the evening Apollo Crews won the WWE United States Championship after beating Andrade with Zelina Vega in a title match. In this way, Apollo Crews won his first championship in WWE, while Andrade saw his 152-day reign end.
Tonight it wasn’t all bad news for Zelina‘s boys, Angel Garza defeated Kevin Owens in a single match. Before begining the match Angel Garza attacked Kevin Owens, injuring one of his knees.
Murphy & Austin Theory with Seth Rollins defeated Aleister Black & Humberto Carrillo in a tag team match. At the end of the match, Seth Rollins threatened to hurt Humberto Carrillo’s eye in the same way that he did with Rey Mysterio.
Nia Jax will face Asuka for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Backlash, after beating Natalya & Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match.
WWE announced Rey Mysterio’s retirement ceremony for next week.
