1998: Abismo Negro won the Mexican National Middleweight Championship after beating Pentagon at Arena Lopez Mateos in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Estado de Mexico.



2015: The Dream Team Mexico (Rey Mysterio, Alberto del Rio & Myzteziz won the first edition of the Lucha Libre World Cup after beating TEAM TNA / Lucha Underground (Matt Hardy, Mr. Anderson & Johnny Mundo) at El Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
