On May 24, 2015, Lucha Libre AAA held the first edition of the Lucha Libre World Cup in which Main Event. the Dream Team Mexico (Rey Mysterio, Alberto el Patron & Myzteziz) was the winner of the tournament after beating Team TNA / Lucha Underground (Matt Hardy, Mr. Anderson & Johnny Mundo) at the final match.
