On August 17, 2014, Lucha Libre AAA held Triplemania XXII at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, in whose show the Legends of Lucha Libre superstar Taya Valkyrie won the Lucha Libre AAA Reina de Reinas Championship for the first-time in his career after beating Faby Apache in a Title Match.
