On February 25, 1999, at the Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez Moreno Rey Mysterio won the WWA World Werlterweight Championship after beating Legends of Lucha Libre‘s Psicosis in a Title Match. Originally Rey Mysterio and Psicosis would face in a Mask vs. Mask Match, but a week earlier Rey had lost his mask against Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at WCW SuperBrawl IX.
