On July 16, 2017, Lucha Libre AAA held a Live Show at the Arena Jose Sulaiman in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, in whose show Sexy Star (Dulce Sexy) won the Lucha Libre AAA Reina de Reinas Championship for the third-time in his career after beating La Hiedra, Lady Shani, Goya Kong & Faby Apache in a 6-Way Title Match. Sexy Star made her surprise return to Lucha Libre AAA as the luchadora sorpresa.
