Eddie Edwards wins the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship at Slammiversary
IMPACT Wrestling held the 16th edition of the Slammiversary show at the Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, in whose main event Eddie Edwards won the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship after beating Ace Austin, Trey, Rich Swann & Eric Young in a Fatal Five-Way Match.
At the end of the event, an EC3 video was shown, thus confirming their return to IMPACT Wrestling.
Deonna Purrazzo won the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship after beating Jordynne Grace.
The North retained the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship after beating Sami Callihan & Ken Shamrock.
At the end of the match, the Motor City Machine Guns challenged the champions to a title match.
Chris Bey won the IMPACT Wrestling X Division Championship against Willie Mack. In this way, The Chocolate Thunder ended his 88-day reign.
Kylie Rae won a title shot for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship after eliminating Taya in a Guantlet for the Gold Match.
Moose retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Tommy Dremmer in a Old School Rules Match.
In the first match of the evening, The Moto City Machine Guns returned to IMPACT Wrestling to defeat The Razcalz in a Tag Team Match.
