El Legado del Fantasma will be part of the NXT TakeOver: XXX preshow
WWE held the episode 417 of NXT Live at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, in whose show WWE announced a triple threat match at the NXT TakeOver: XXX preshow between Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde), Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango), and the duo of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch. The winners will face IMPERIUM for the NXT Tag Team Championship on a date and place to be confirmed. Prior to this announcement, the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scoot & Breezango in a 6-Man Tag Team Match.
The Velveteen Dream qualified for the Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: XXX after beating Finn Bálor.
In the first match, Johnny Gargano with Candice LeRae are also qualified defeated for the Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship match after beating Ridge Holland.

– Second Match: Dakota Kai defeated Jessi Kamea (Single Match)
– First Match: Johnny Gargano with Candice LeRae defeated Ridge Holland (NXT North American Championship Qualifying Match)
