WWE Monday Night RAW Latino Review: Victories for Penta, Lola Vice, and Dragon Lee, plus Rey Fenix’s Open Challenge

Published September 28, 2026

The recent edition of WWE Monday Night RAW from Milwaukee became a true showcase of excellence and resilience for the legion of Latino superstars, who stole the most vibrant moments of the night with high-caliber victories, championship announcements, and heated rivalries.

The action began with an intense singles match in the women’s division, where Lola Vice once again proved her hierarchy against a tough opponent in Roxanne Perez. In a bout featuring constant exchanges on the mat, holds, and ringside punishments, Vice survived the former champion’s onslaughts. With a fierce display of kicks, a lethal Saito Suplex, and a definitive triangle choke mixed with technical grappling, Lola sealed the ultimate victory with her crushing spinning backfist for the three-count. However, the celebration was short-lived as Raquel Rodriguez appeared out of nowhere to leave her laid out with a brutal big boot, igniting a new war.

Meanwhile, aerial talent and technical resilience shone once again in the singles clash between Dragon Lee and the imposing Big Cass. Overcoming a tremendous physical disadvantage and savage punishments toward the ring apron, the masked man deployed his repertoire with a tope con giro and an unrelenting series of kicks to the giant’s legs. At the crucial moment, when Cass looked to finish the match, Dragon Lee surprised him with a clever transition into the Octopus Hold, finally rubber-stamping the tactical feat by reversing a chokeslam into a dizzying bridging sunset flip to take the win.

Latino presence also echoed on the microphones. During an interview with Jackie Redmond, Rey Fenix grabbed the headlines by making a historic announcement: he will defend his Lucha libre AAA Cruiserweight Championship across all brands, confirming that he will put the title on the line inside RAW rings. The statement drew an immediate interruption from ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page, who questioned his work as a global ambassador for lucha libre. Fenix didn’t hold back, told him to shut up, and booked a direct match for next week, raising the temperature in the locker room.

The icing on the cake came in the tag team division. Penta, teaming up with the young sensation Je’Von Evans, faced off against Judgment Day representatives (Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh). In a chaotic brawl packed with suicide dives, outside interference—including Joe Hendry‘s musical distraction—and combined punishments, Penta demonstrated his mastery. After neutralizing the heels’ cheating attempts, the masked man connected with a devastating superkick on McDonagh and capped off the work alongside Evans by executing a crushing flip piledriver on Dominik Mysterio to secure the pinfall victory.

Bron Breakker broke in to decimate both Penta and his partner with devastating spears, making it clear that the path of Latino talent on Monday Night RAW is paved with glory, but also with imminent dangers.
