WWE‘s red brand delivered a high-intensity evening at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, highlighted by the absolute prominence of its Latin American roster. Featuring drama, aerial maneuvers, and emotional moments, the event marked the triumphant in-ring return of Stephanie Vaquer and established a historic final between brothers.

Stephanie Vaquer Overcomes Adversity in Her Return

“La Pirmera” Stephanie Vaquer made a triumphant return to the ring, defeating Roxanne Perez in a match filled with physical punishment and outside interference.

Pérez tried to avoid direct contact by seeking the safety of the ropes, but Vaquer took control with a “Gator Roll” and attacks targeting her opponent’s right arm. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodríguez attempted to tip the scales in Perez‘s favor. Becky Lynch’s arrival neutralized the opposing faction, allowing Vaquer to slam Rodríguez into the steel steps.  After countering Pérez‘s offense on the top rope, “La Primera” secured the victory via pinfall.

Rey Fenix Advances to Tournament Final

In the first semifinal match to determine the number one contender for the WWE World Championship, Rey Fenix defeated Dragon Lee in a high-speed, dynamic contest.

The match featured spinning dives to the outside, a Tornado DDT, and a Brainbuster executed by FenixDragon Lee managed to kick out after taking a double moonsault, while Fénix survived a devastating Styles Clash. Fenix countered a charge with an Ace Crusher and sealed the victory with a Mexican Muscle Buster. After the match, both competitors showed mutual respect by embracing in the center of the ring.

Penta Completes the Grand Final Lineup

In the second semifinal match to determine the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Penta secured his spot in the grand final by defeating La Parka in a bout defined by high-risk maneuvers. The action quickly spilled outside the ring with a twisting tope and an Orihara moonsault, but the most tense moment arrived when La Parka executed a spectacular Avalanche Spanish Fly from the top rope, nearly securing the win with a two-count. However, Penta managed to kick out and seal his victory via pinfall by landing a lethal Springboard Flip Piledriver, thereby setting up the highly anticipated main event clash against his own brother, Rey Fénix.

Fraternal Conclusion in Ottawa

Following Penta‘s victory, Rey Fénix appeared on the entrance ramp. The Lucha Brothers reunited before the Canadian crowd with a handshake and a hug, sealing the commitment that will see both brothers vie for the main-event spot for the WWE World Championship.
