WWE held the episode 1110 of Friday Night SmackDown at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, in whose Main Event, Kevin Owens defeated Jey Uso by disqualification in a Single Match. Jey Uso attacked Owens with a chair, thus causing the disqualification. Owens was able to overcome and also attacked Jey, sending a clear message to the WWE Champion Roman Reigns. 

Murphy with Mysterio Family defeated King Corbin in a Single Match, Murphy received help from Dominik Mysterio. Upset by the result, King Corbin challenged Murphy to a rematch.
