Hot off of a jam packed signing at Mexico City‘s La Mole AniMole convention that saw more than 200 fans flock to the Masked Republic booth to meet Vampiro as he kicked off Masked Republic Comic‘s “Road Trip To Armageddon” Fall appearance in support of the new Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse comic book series from Massive Publishing, two New york City appearances have been announced.

Vampiro will appear alongside series writer Michael Kingston at Kingston‘s Headlocked booth at New York Comic Con on Thursday October 17th, 2024.
Wanting to be sure that the fans of New York who were unable to attend NYCC still had a chance to meet the icon and get their own autographed copy of Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse #1, on the comic’s release day, Wednesday, October 16th, Vampiro and Kingston will appear at The Wrestling Universe store.
In addition to copies of issue #1, the in-store appearance will also be fans’ first chance to get the limited edition Coffin Box Vampiro figure that comes in a coffin package with window for display, a brand new design leather jacket, three sets of hands and alternate head. Only 650 were made and they will officially go on sale at NY Comic Con and on BossFightShop.com on Thursday 10/17. But, attendees of the in-store at The Wrestling Universe will have the first opportunity to get the figure before it goes on sale to the general public.

About Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse
Every guitarist knows his name. His performances are the stuff of legend. He’s played all over the world, but his face has never graced a single concert poster. He’s never advertised. He just…appears!
In this action-packed, double-sized first issue, we meet Everitt Holden, an Austin music vlogger who sets out to discover the truth behind the urban legend known only as Vampiro, an underground guitarist that’s seemingly existed for over a century. Instead, he finds himself dragged into the middle of a shadowy conflict of biblical proportions!
Join Vampiro, luchadora Estrella Nocturna, and Everitt as they hurtle down Route 66 in a 1955 Pontiac Bonneville on a quest to save the world! It’s a tale filled with monsters, muscle cars, luchadores, cops, clowns, nuns, guns, demons, blood and plenty of BBQ as our heroes race against time -and a whole host of enemies- to try and thwart a secret plan to jumpstart the apocalypse!
