1989: Big Van Vader won the UWA World Heavyweight Championship after beating Canek at El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos in Naucalpan, Estado de Mexico.

 

1991: Los Infernales (El Satanico, Pirata Morgan & MS-1) were the first luchadores to win the CMLL World Trios Championship after beating Los Brazos (Brazo de Oro, Brazo de Plata & El Brazo) at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

1992: The Legends of Lucha Libre superstar Ultimo Dragon won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship for the first-time in his career after beating El Samurai at the NJPW Wrestling Scramble 1992 at the Ryogiku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.

 

 

1999: Villano III won the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship after beating Atlantis in Tampico, Tamaulipas.

 

 

2005: The Legends of Lucha Libre superstar Juventud Guerrera won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship for the second-time in his career after beating Nunzio at the episode 328 of Friday Night SmackDown at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England.
