1897: EMLL (today known as CMLL) founder and considered “El Padre de la Lucha Libre” Salvador Luterroth Gonzalez was born in Colotlan, Jalisco.

 

 

1991: Mascara Sagrada won the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship after beating Pierroth Jr. at Arena Isabel in Cuernavaca, Morelos.

 

 

1993: Xochitl Hamada won the CMLL World Women’s Championship after beating Bull Nakano at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

1997: El Satanico, Emilio Charles Jr. & Rey Bucanero won the CMLL World Trios Championship after beating Dr. Wagner Jr., Apolo Dantes & Black Warrior at the 2nd  edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

1997: Silver King won the La Fiera‘s hair in a Hair Vs. Hair Match at the 2nd edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

2003: Dr. Wagner Jr., Black Tiger III & Universo 2000 won the CMLL World Trios Championship after beating Atlantis, Mr. Niebla & Black Warrior at the 8th edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas: Salvador Lutteroth & El Santo at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

2003: Pierroth Jr. won the Gran Markus‘ hair in a Hair vs. Hair Match at the 8th edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas: Salvador Lutteroth & El Sabto at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

2003: Rayo de Jalico Jr. won the WWA World Heavyweight Championship after beating Rey Misterio at the Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Baja California.

 

 

2004: Jeff Jarrett won the 8th  edition of  Lucha Libre AAA Rey de Reyes Tournament after beating Latin Lover at El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos in Naucalpan, Estado de Mexico.

 

 

2008: Legends of Lucha Libre‘s Hijo del Perro Aguayo won the Hector Garza‘s hair in a Hair vs. Hair Match at the 13th edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas: Salvador Lutteroth & Black Shadow at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

2011: Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans won the Lucha Libre AAA World Tag Team Championship after beating Silver King & Ultimo Gladiador at the Domo de la Feria in Leon, Guanajuato.

 

 

2014: Legends of Lucha Libre‘s Rush won the Shocker’s hair in a Hair vs. Hair Match at the 19th edition of the CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas: Salvador Lutteroth & Cien Caras at Arena Mexico in Mexico City.

 

 

2015: Legends of Lucha Libre‘s Hijo del Perro Aguayo passed away at 36.
