1973: Ray Mendoza won the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship for the sixth-time in his career after beating Kim Sung Ho at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

 

 

1975: El Solitario won the El Galeno‘s mask in a Mask vs. Mask Match at the Plaza de Toros El Progreso in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

 

 

1975: Legends of Lucha Libre‘s El Matematico was the first luchador to win the UWA World Lightweight Championship after beating Hashi Masataka at the Plaza de Toros La Monumental in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

 

 

1980: Chabela Romero won the UWA World Women’s Championship after beating Vickie Williams in Mexico City.
