Road Warrior Animal Dies at 60

The wrestling industry is in mourning. Joseph Michael Laurinaitis, better known as Road Warrior Animal, passed away this Tuesday, September 22 at 60 in Osage Beach, Missouri. This news was confirmed by the Road WarriorAnimal family through the official official Twitter account.

 

Road Warrior Animal is considered a wrestling legend as he is part of Legion of Doom with Road Warrior Hank, one of the most popular tag teams in history. Together they won the AWA, NWA, WWF tag team championships, among many others.

In 2011 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with Road Warrior Hank, in 2012 he was inducted individually into the NWA Hall of Fame.

May 11, 2008 was the only time that Road Warrior Animal worked in Mexico, at Toryumon Mexico Dragonmania III show at the Arena Mexico won the UWA World Tag Team Championship with Power Warrior (Kendo Sasaki) after beating Damian 666 and El Terrible.
