The 350+ page book dives deep into the historic vaults filled with the films of El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras and Las Luchadoras with over 70 text and art contributors including Amy “Lita” Dumas, Hijo de Blue Demon Jr, Lee Moriarty and Rick Knox launches a Kickstarter campaign on Thursday, February 5, to create a collectors edition hardcover available worldwide.

After over 18 months of work at the tail end of decades in researching for Viviana García Besné, she is ready, along with Masked Republic and award winning designer Jeffrey Everett (Rockets Are Red) to bring an amazing array of never before tales and materials from her family and their film vaults to the pages of their book Luchadores vs. Everything.
From first two films of El Santo, shot in Cuba in the days leading up to Castro‘s ascension, to classics featuring Dracula, El Hombre Lobo, Frankestein and Hija del Frankestein, and from the most prolific luchadora films including La Mujer Murciélago (Bat Woman), Las Mujeres Panteras, and Las Lobas del Ring to the highly controversial “sexy versions” of Santo classics – the book covers more than 2 dozen classic films. Packed with never-before-seen materials such original shooting script pages, casting headshots, call sheets, private letters, contracts, lawsuits, producers’ personal notes and more… this is a unique chance to see into Viviana‘s family vault and the archives of her friends and collaborators – including many from the wrestling world.
