It was a round of few upsets, with only Rey Horus, Hijo del Vikingo, Mistico and Soberano Jr. defeating higher seeds. Just as notable was how the majority of match ups were lopsided. Pagano vs. Sansón was the closest match up, with them being separated by only two votes; the next closest Blue Panther vs. Alberto El Patron and Hijo del Vikingo vs. Volador Jr., which were each separated by seven votes. Aside from those three match ups and Taya vs. Rey Horus, every other victory was via a total of eleven or more votes. The largest margin of victory was by LA Park, who was just four votes shy of 100% of the vote, which would’ve been a first in Lucha Madness!
