Legendary box and lucha libre Commentator Dr. Alfonso Morales passed away this Thursday, December 17 at 71 due to kidney failure, this was confirmed by his nephew, also sports commentator Leonardo Reaño through his official account on Twitter.

Lucha Libre AAA, a company to which he belongs to his Hall of Fame in Class 2018, also offered his condolences to his family members.

Gilberto Alberto Morales Villela, as was his real name, was born in Huetamo, Michoacan and since 1970 he dedicated himself to sports journalism, however, his profession was a psychiatrist, hence the nickname of Doctor. For several years he was in charge of the narrations of box and lucha libre on Televisa.
