CMLL held its traditional Spectacular Friday Live Show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, in whose Main Event, Averno, Templario & Barbaro Cavernario defeated Mistico, Volador Jr. & Soberano Jr. by submission with a Armbreaker from El Amo y Señor on El Rey de Plata y Oro in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. At the end of the match, Averno challenged Mistico to a Title Match for the NWA World Historic World Middleweight Championship.

Atlantis Jr. and Sangre Imperial advanced to the final round of the CMLL La Gran Alternativa Tournament after beating Ultimo Guerrero & Disturbio. Next Saturday, at the Christmas ShowAtlantis Jr. & Sangre Imperial will face Euforia and El Coyote to determine the tournament winners.
