1917: Lucha libre legend El Santo was born in Tulancingo, Hidalgo.

 

 

1937: EMLL (today known as CMLL) held its 4th Anniversary Show at the Old Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Jack O’ Brien defeated Joe Maynes in a Single Match.

 

 

1960: EMLL (today known as CMLL) held its 27th Anniversary Show at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Ruben Juarez won the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship after beating Ray Mendoza.

 

 

1977: EMLL (today known as CMLL) held its 44th Anniversary “A” Show at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Fishman won the Sangre Chicana‘s mask in a Triple Threat Mask vs. Mask Match. In this way, we knowed the identity of Andrés Durán Reyes. El Cobarde also participated in this match.

 

 

1983: EMLL (today known as CMLL) held its 50th Anniversary Show at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Sangre Chicana won the MS-1‘s hair in a Hair vs. Hair Match.

 

 

1988: EMLL (today known as CMLL) held its 55th Anniversary Show at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Mascara Año 2000 won the Mogur‘s mask in a Mask vs. Mask Match. In this way, we knowed the identity of José de Jesús Pantoja Flores.

 

 

1994: CMLL held its 55th Anniversary Show at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. In the Main Event, Negro Casas won the Mocho Cota‘s hair in a Hair vs. Hair Match.

 

 

2005: Atlantis won the 8th edition of the CMLL International Grand Prix Tournament at Arena Mexico in Mexico City after beating Legends of Lucha Libre‘s Hijo del Perro Aguayo.
