CMLL Dream Matches Friday: How to watch, start times and card

Published December 18, 2025

Arena México pulls out all the stops to close the year with a card featuring spectacular rivalries, international talent from AEW, and the culmination of key tournaments leading into 2026.

  • CMLL World Heavyweight Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli (AEW) (c) vs. Ultimo Guerrero

The Swiss powerhouse Claudio Castagnoli arrives at the top of the mountain after capturing the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship on November 28th by defeating Gran Guerrero. “El Luchador de Otro Nivel”, Ultimo Guerrero, with his family pride wounded, seeks to return CMLL‘s top prize to Mexican hands. It is a clash of titans: Castagnoli‘s technical prowess and brute strength versus the experience and cunning of the leader of Los Guerreros Laguneros.

  • World Historic Welterweight Championship Match: Mascara Dorada (c) vs. Mike Bailey

A true “Dream Match.” Dorada has honorably defended his legacy as one of the world’s best high-flyers, but Bailey—an international and AEW star—arrives with a hybrid style of martial arts and suicidal dives that promises to keep the crowd on the edge of their seats.

  • Soberano Jr. vs. Kevin Knight

Following the unfortunate injury to Neon, “El Lujo de laLucha Libre”, Soberano Jr., stepped up to face the explosive Kevin Knight. Soberano is coming off a significant momentum boost after his feud with Místico, while Knight looks to prove why he is considered one of AEW‘s most athletic prospects on Mexican soil.

  • 2025 CMLL La Gran Alternativa Final Match: Atlantis Jr. & Xelhua vs. Angel de Oro & Yutani

Night of consecration for the rookies. Xelhua, the giant from Puebla, has the backing of the “Atlantis heritage,” while the Japanese standout Yutani is guided by the veteran experience of Angel de Oro. This tournament historically catapults the winners into the main event scene.

  • Road to CMLL Sin Salida 2026 16-Man Torneo Cibernetico Match: Rey Cometa, Calavera Jr. I, Electrico, Virus, Oro Jr., Polvora, Blue Shark, Robin, Espiritu Negro, Calavera Jr. II, Astral, Cancerbero, Diamond, El Coyote, El Vigía, and Sangre Imperial.

This match serves as the direct prelude to the Sin Salida event on January 2, 2026. Here will define the final tensions before these 16 luchadores enter the steel cage to put their masks or hair on the line. The order of elimination and inevitable betrayals will determine who enters the cage with the upper hand.

This show is not just a talent exchange with AEW; it is a turning point for CMLL. It tests the hegemony of foreign champions (Castagnoli) against the institution’s pillars (Ultimo Guerrero), while simultaneously setting the stage for the first major “Apuesta Match” event of the coming year.

CMLL Dream Matches Friday will be streaming live through the legend level membership on the official CMLL channel on YouTube, this PPV will cost $699 pesos ($34 USD). The streaming in the US will be exclusively on Triller TV for $7.99 USD with Triller TV+. The event will be this Friday, December 19 at 8:30 P.M. Mexico City Time (9:30 P.M. E.T).
