New “Lucha Libre Legend of the Mask” Video Game Teaser Reveal
Masked Republic is working with Baja California based BC Media Labs and Los Angeles‘ Hyperkinetic Studios on the first lucha libre side scroller beat ’em up game which will be available for PC (Steam), XBOX, Playstation and Switch. Planned for a Spring 2025 release action takes place outside of the arena throughout Mexico.

What A Weekend: SoCal and Chicago
Masked Republic celebrated National Lucha Libre Day in Mexico by bringing authentic lucha libre action to horror & pop culture convention Creep I.E. Con in Ontario, California and to Tacos & Tequila Festival: Chicago. This was Masked Republic’s first time as part of the Inland Empire‘s largest horror convention and both our luchadores and the attendees loved every minute of the action. Chicago was 2024 stop number 6 for Social House Entertainment’s Tacos & Tequila Festivals where Masked Republic is the exclusive provider of authentic lucha libre action. Once again the event sold out with thousands and thousands in attendance. The final stop of the year for the festival circuit will be October 5th in San Antonio, TX.
This Coming Weekend: La Mole’s AniMole Convention in Mexico City
La Mole, Mexico‘s largest comic, film and pop culture convention, presentes a very special fall event, AniMole. In his first La Mole appearance, Vampiro will be appearing Saturday from 1-4 PM and 150 attendees have a chance to receive an autographed poster of the cover of the new Masked Republic Comics & Massive Publishing action-horror comic series Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse painted by the legendary Rafael Gallur. AniMole also has a convention exclusive variant of Luchaverse: Catalyst #3 featuring Konnan & The Ambassadors (artist Puis Calzada will be on hand to sign) and Interludium: The Cosmic Shift where writer Diego Valenzuela (also on hand to sign) charts the course for the future of The Luchaverse. The convention exclusive variant cover is painted by Portaveritas – who, you guessed it, will also be on hand to sign!
