Masked Republic is ranked as one of the eight most influential brands in the wrestling business

Wrestlezone presented its Best For The Business: 2019’s list, which highlights the business of the wrestling business and how the landscape of professional wrestling changed in the last year: fans saw the emergence of a new promotion, the return to the weekly broadcast of another legendary and a series of changes for the better. In addition, they also discard some of the names behind the scenes that do some positive things with their roles, be it charity work, fan events or take wrestling to new markets.

WrestleZone points to Masked Republic as one of the leading brands of Lucha Libre products and seeks to make the lucha libre culture more accessible to fans in the United States.

The list highlights that Masked Republic represents a number of Lucha libre’s top names like the Lucha Brothers, Rey Mysterio, Tinieblas Jr., El Solar, Juventud Guerrera, helping them create officially licensed products and navigate the business side of professional wrestling branding. In addition, Masked Republic has created their own intellectual property brands like The Luchaverse (comic books), Lucha Loot (merchandise crates), Lucha Central (Lucha Libre news) and Saints & Rudos Streetwear.

Only eight companies were named to the list. The other seven were AEW, NWA, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Starrcast, GCW, Pro Wrestling Tees & PROGRESS Wrestling.
