Matt Taven retains the Ring of Honor World Championship after beating the CMLL superstar Volador Jr.

Ring of Honor & CMLL held the second night of the Global Wars Espectacular tour which took place at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois, in which Matt Taven retained the ROH World Championship after defeating Volador Jr. Taven will have to defend the title againts Rush this September 27 at the Death Before Dishonor PPV.

The Team CMLL represented by Caristico, Triton & Stuka Jr. was defeated by Jeff Cobb, Jonathan Gresham & Jay Lethal.

Rush got his 15th Single Match victory after beating Barbaro Cavernario.

Okumura & PJ Black were defeated by Silas Young & Josh Woods in a Tag Team Match.
