To quote Varys from Game of Thrones, storms come and go, the big fish eat the little fish, and AAA keeps on paddling. Alright he didn’t say it exactly like that, but the point stands as AAA once again dominated the ratings battle this week. Lucha Central has learned that last Friday’s show on Azteca 7 drew a 2.1 rating with 4.4 million viewers. The rating is slightly down from last week’s 2.3 rating but the viewers were up 0.3, making this (along with the March 8th and February 15th shows) the highest total viewership in AAA’s run on Azteca 7 so far.
Meanwhile CMLL once again lagged behind, though they have continued to hold firm in their spot. Saturday’s show on Gala TV drew a 1.2 rating with 1.3 million viewers; the rating was up 0.1 from last week while the viewership held firm. While CMLL doesn’t appear to be growing an audience in this time slot and should be slotted behind AAA for the foreseeable future, they are at least continuing to draw a steady number
