LA Park’s return to CMLL is upon us! After fueling the fire by stating he would be returning to the promotion shortly, The Chairman of Lucha Libre was indeed confirmed to be riding in on the white horse this morning, when CMLL announced Park will be competing on next Monday’s Arena Puebla show. He will team with his son, Hijo de LA Park, and nephew/cousin/whatever they are Volador Jr. to reform La Familia Real, going up against Euforia, Gran Guerrero and Ultimo Guerrero of Los Guerreros Laguneros.

After appearing for both AAA and CMLL throughout 2018, this will mark Park’s first streaming appearance for either promotion in 2019. In fact, aside from an appearance at an AAA spot show this weekend, the Chairman has instead stuck to the Mexican independent circuit or appearances for Major League Wrestling in the US; he was supposedly scheduled to be Dr. Wagner Jr.’s opponent for Triplemania later this year, but has since been replaced by Blue Demon Jr. after a rumored falling out with AAA management. Park’s last CMLL appearance was at a Dia de Muertos show in November, where he, Diamante Azul and Michael Elgin defeated King Phoenix, Penta Zero M and Ultimo Guerrero in trios action. While some may have expected Park’s CMLL return to occur in Arena Mexico, a return to Puebla actually makes sense after a three week late September run by Park in Puebla was a big draw for the promotion. This will also be Hijo de LA Park’s first match for CMLL in many months; he last appeared on CMLL’s Sin Piedad show back on the first of January.

CMLL Puebla will air live on CMLL’s YouTube channel this Monday at 11 p.m. EST. Lucha Central will provide a review after the show.
