Tonight’s CMLL Tuesday show was a CMLL Tuesday show. In other words not a whole lot happened! We had a few decent undercard matches, some disappointing matches and a main event that didn’t really mean a whole lot. If you missed all that fun, here’s the run down.

Angelito & Último Dragóncito defeated Mercurio & Pequeño Nitro two falls to one.

Robin defeated Grako in a Lightning Match at the 7:33 mark after pinning Grako with a Tiger Bomb. This was not good sports fans. I don’t know if the effort was nonexistent or if CMLL booked these two to do the bare minimum but this felt more like what you’d see from these guys in an opener then you would it what’s likely their lone singles match on a CMLL streamed show this year. Robin, to his credit, had a few nice moments but he was still largely bland, while Grako at times seemed incapable of timing anything correctly. There’s talent there, but this match clearly showed he needs to hang out with El Coyote a bit more. A very disappointing match, though I guess you can’t be disappointed in something that had zero expectations to begin with.

Espanto Jr., Hijo del Signo, Nitro defeated Pegasso, Star Jr., Super Astro Jr. two falls to one after Espanto pinned Pegasso with a Backcracker and Nitro pinned Astro Jr. with a pop up powerbomb. A better than usual match between these teams, likely because the rudos stepped up their effort for a rare match outside of the bottom two. Hijo del Signo even did a dive! They were still mediocre for the most part, but any effort from Espanto, Nitro and Signo helps and the technicos were solid enough to carry this match with that effort. A solid bout.

Black Panther, Blue Panther Jr., Guerrero Maya Jr. defeated Cancerbero, Raziel, Vangellys two falls to one after Black Panther pinned Cancerbero with a second rope Shotgun Dropkick and Maya pinned Vangellys with a springboard Back Elbow. Another better than usual match that was once again helped by better rudo effort than usual. Cancerbero and Raziel are good workers and they showed it here, going all out for the first time in awhile and meshing well with the technicos. Speaking of the Panthers and Maya, all three were on their A game, with Maya even breaking out the old Super Calo style dive. Only Vangellys was below par, but it was less noticeable than usual. A good match!

Ephesto, Hechicero, Luciferno defeated Kráneo, Rey Cometa, Volcano two falls to one after Hechicero submitted Rey Cometa. Someday it’ll need to be explained to my why Volcano is still allowed in these matches. He instantly made me tune out to an extent during his entrance and I never got all the way back into this match. Then again there wasn’t much to get into outside of Hechicero and one or two Rey Cometa moments. A forgettable match.

Audaz, Carístico, Stuka Jr. defeated Bestia del Ring, Mr. Niebla, Terrible two falls to one after Mr. Niebla was DQ’d for unmasking Carístico. Audaz was in for an injured Soberano Jr. for what I believe was his first ever CMLL main event appearance. It was one to forget as Audaz hardly had anything to do, with his most notable moment coming on a dive that was, of course, not caught by Bestia del Ring. Must be a CMLL show! The rest of the match wasn’t much. Big ups to Carístico for honoring his father a second straight day, but he wasn’t given the opportunity to shine like last night.
