You know how eventful tonight’s CMLL Tuesday show was sports fans? It was so eventful that I started this paragraph two matches before the show ended. In other words, it wasn’t eventful at all, with the exception of MAYBE one match. If you spent your night doing something much more exciting, here’s what you missed.

Fantasy & Shockercito defeated Pequeño Nitro & Pequeño Olímpico two falls to one after Shockercito submitted Olímpico and Fantasy submitted Nitro. I spent most of this match so bored that I tried to unblur Cody Rhodes’ opponent for Double or Nothing. Like this match, I was unsuccessful.

Astral, Eléctrico, Star Jr. defeated Difunto, Disturbio, Espanto Jr. two falls to one after Astral pinned Difunto with a roll up and Eléctrico pinned Espanto with a Springboard Elbow. Astral, Eléctrico and Star Jr. finally win a Tuesday show match! Granted it’s probably because they were going against a team with an Arena Mexico newbie (Guadalajara’s Difunto) but still. Match was solid, but desperately needed some dives to break out. Difunto looks to have potential (Eléctrico looked very comfortable with him), the other two rudos didn’t mess anything up and the technicos were good, with Star Jr. really standing out.

Kaho Kobayashi, La Jarochita, Marcela defeated Amapola, Dalys, Tiffany two falls to none after Dalys unmasked Jarochita for the DQ. Are we getting a Jarochita-Dalys program? Should I be excited about that? SO MANY CONFLICTING THOUGHTS! Match was okay; they packed a lot in due to the shorter amount of time but you’re still only going to get to a certain level with Tiffany in there.

Flyer defeated Pólvora in a Lightning Match at the 7:34 mark. The finish came after Flyer hit Pólvora with a Top Rope Spanish Fly. Decent match that was well worked, but aside from the Spanish Fly and a sweet Flyer moonsault this was seriously lacking excitement. Pólvora may as well have been any rudo with limited offense in this match, and Flyer left quite a bit on the table himself, though he was the superior performer. Maybe it’s just me but this felt like it could’ve and should’ve been better.

Cavernario, Felino, Luciferno defeated Blue Panther, Esfinge, Stuka Jr. two falls to one after Felino pinned Panther with a Luci Clash. A surprisingly DELIGHTFUL match. Sorry; went full Matt Hardy there. We got some cool Cavernario-Panther sequences, two great dives by Cav and Esfinge and the usual weird Panther match structure. They could’ve used another rudo besides Felino (who was an afterthought) but overall this was a good time.

Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Volador Jr. defeated Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón two falls to one after Azul pinned Sansón following a German Suplex. Sansón may have been injured on that finish as the doctor came out to check on him after. That’ll take the heat off Diamante Azul! Match was the usual quick Tuesday main event. Volador did a dive and Atlantis continues to look good against the Dinamitas.
