CMLL Puebla was on tonight. That is all. Let’s get to the results so I can get back to watching Late Night with Conan O’Brien clips.

Centella Roja & Meyer defeated Ares & Fuerza Chicana two falls to one.

Dalys & La Comandante defeated La Jarochita & Marcela two falls to one after dueling submissions. Just when I thought this match was over, it went on another five minutes. Really long and really boring.

Shockercito defeated Mini Joker two falls to one to retain the CMLL World Mini-Estrellas Championship. Good match but it never felt like it hit the extra gear to reach the next level. Mini Joker was more impressive out of the two than Shockercito; naturally all it means is he’ll be stuck in Arena Puebla forever.

Dragón Rojo Jr., Olímpico, Pólvora defeated Esfinge, Titán, Tritón two falls to one after Rojo and Pólvora submitted Esfinge and Tritón with a double submission. Another dull match with the technicos somewhat trying and it not mattering in the slightest. Olímpico was all sorts of terrible and inexplicably got to hit a dive on Titán. Only in CMLL!

Ángel de Oro, Matt Taven, Niebla Roja defeated Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Templario two falls to one after Roja pinned Templario with a Canadian Destroyer and Taven pinned Niebla with a Frog Splash. This was more active than everything else on the card but was still just kind of there. Taven, Roja, Casas and Templario all looked good, Ángel de Oro didn’t get a ton to do and Mr. Niebla was below average. You could see Taven’s blood pressure rising every time they had a sequence together.

Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero defeated Bestia del Ring, Cavernario, Rush two falls to one after Rush got DQ’d. At least I think it was two falls to one; the match was that interesting. Just the usual low effort Ingobernables brawl you get in Puebla, with no set up it appears for next week on top of that.
