This week in Arena Puebla, CMLL decided to bring the Torneo a Parejas Increibles tournament to Monday night. This was hilarious, mainly because they already ran a one night Torneo a Parejas Increibles tournament in Arena Puebla earlier this year! Who won it? I know Tiger was involved and that’s it; and I cover this show! Goes to show you how memorable these shows are, and CMLL didn’t disappoint in delivering another show to forget tonight with Block A. If you missed all the action, you’re in luck. Just read below.

Black Tiger & El Malayo defeated Millenium & Tigre Rojo Jr. two falls to one.

Olímpico, Sagrado, Universo 2000 Jr. defeated Fuego, Drone, Star Jr. two falls to one.

Atlantis, Niebla Roja, Rey Samuray defeated Cuatrero, Sansón, Toro Bill Jr. two falls to one after Atlantis pinned Cuatrero with a Hurricanrana Roll Up. Samuray replaced Volador Jr. and Toro Bill Jr. replaced Cavernario. This was easily the biggest match both Samuray and Toro Bill will have in Puebla this year; unfortunately Samuray was the only one aware of this, which was fine up until Toro Bill was supposed to catch a daring tornillo suicida dive in the third fall. He didn’t and Samuray landed on his head. He’s got no luck at all I tell you. Rest of the match was relatively ordinary, with the guys mostly just going 50%.

Ángel de Oro & Euforia defeated Guerrero Maya Jr. & Shocker after Oro pinned Shocker with a roll up and Euforia pinned Maya with a Euforia Driver. Boring match; why Shocker is still allowed to work is beyond me.

Cavernario & Flyer defeated Negro Casas & Stigma after Cavernario pinned Stigma with a Splash and Flyer pinned Casas with La Casita. Far more watchable than the first match, though mostly by Puebla standards. Casas tried hard, Cavernario was entertaining, Flyer and Stigma didn’t screw up too badly.

Mr. Niebla & Stuka Jr. defeated Gran Guerrero & Soberano Jr. after Stuka pinned Guerrero with the Stuka Splash and Niebla submitted Soberano with a Paradise Lock. A very entertaining match. Niebla was at his comedic best and Soberano and Guerrero were excellent as a team, busting out several creative tag team moves despite never teaming together. Naturally they lost because the world is an ugly place.

Mephisto & Volador Jr. defeated Forastero & Kráneo after Mephisto pinned Kráneo following a Volador Superkick and Volador pinned Forastero with a roll up. Volador replaced Rush. This match was duller than watching Keanu Reeves doing Shakespeare. At least it was quicker though.

Ángel de Oro & Euforia defeated Cavernario & Flyer after Oro pinned Cavernario with a Michinoku Driver. Solid match with a stunning result. And also a sad result; this could’ve been Soberano if only CMLL had the guts to team him with his dad!

Mephisto & Volador Jr. defeated Mr. Niebla & Stuka Jr. in a quick match.

Mephisto & Volador Jr. defeated Ángel de Oro & Euforia after Mephisto pinned Oro with a Top Rope Devil’s Wings and Volador pinned Euforia with a Super Hurricanrana. Mephisto and Volador win Block A of the Puebla Torneo a Parejas Increibles take two. Match was alright; for a moment I thought it may end up being good, but they ultimately weren’t given the time to work with. Somewhat fun while it lasted, but too quick.
