Ever watch the CMLL Puebla show live on Monday? No? Smart! I am not so smart, which is why I stopped binging Riverdale long enough to watch a show where the only thing of note happened at the end. If you did something better with your evening, here’s what happened.

Gemelo Pantera I, Gemelo Pantera II, Tyson La Bestia defeated King Jaguar, Rey Samuray, Tigre Rojo Jr. two falls to one after Bestia pinned Rojo after a triple Shotgun Dropkick. Match was one big pile of “eh”, with the rudo team being practically useless and King Jaguar as a technico being less than useless. Rey Samuray and Tigre Rojo continue to deserve better.

Dalys, La Comandante, La Seductora defeated Marcela, Mystique, Princesa Sugehit two falls to one after Dalys rolled up Marcela for the pin. In the words of Immortan Joe, MEDIOCRE! Marcela had some cool kicks but otherwise this was a by the numbers match where the most interesting thing was Mystique taking ten minutes to make her entrance. Odd, very odd.

Stigma, Titán, Tritón defeated Felino, Hechicero, Tiger two falls to one after Titán pinned Felino with a Victory Roll Bridge pin. Decent match that probably would’ve been better on a Friday show with more effort. Great to see Hechicero again for what seems like the first time in awhile. All three technicos looked good.

Hijo del Villano III, Último Guerrero, Villano IV defeated Atlantis, Dragón Lee, Vangellys two falls to none after UG rolled up Vangellys and used the ropes for leverage. THIRD STRAIGHT ROLL UP FINISH! Lots of creativity from the booking team tonight clearly. Match was alright; Dragón Lee and Atlantis looked good and the Villanos were game. The UG/Vangellys feud and upcoming match couldn’t be less appealing.

Ángel de Oro, Kráneo, Niebla Roja defeated Bestia del Ring, Euforia, Terrible two falls to one after Terrible fouled Roja with a low blow. Alright main event, but nothing special. The most interesting aspect was the focus mainly being on Terrible and Roja; there were some sequences between Ángel de Oro and Bestia del Ring, but Oro worked frequently with Euforia as well and even hit his big dive on him at the end. At least for tonight, that indicates Terrible vs. Roja as the H2L direction.
