The lucha libre world has only just begun to catch their breath after the shocking return of LA Park to CMLL last night. They’ll be losing it again shortly as CMLL has confirmed that last night wasn’t just a one off. Next week LA Park will wrestle his first match in CMLL since September of 2015, as he’ll team with fellow La Familia Real members and Gran Alternativa winners Volador Jr. and Flyer against Los Ingobernables themselves, Rush, Terrible and Bestia del Ring. Fans should expect the several year angle between Park and Rush to continue here, as the two superstars look to finally be on a collision course for an Apuesta match at the CMLL Aniversario in September.
But La Familia Real vs. Los Ingobernables is just the tip of the iceberg for this card, as CMLL has once again put together a pretty great looking lineup. The semi-main event will feature Park’s son, El Hijo del LA Park (who debuted last night alongside his father) teaming with Soberano Jr. and Angel de Oro to take on Cuatrero, Forastero and Sanson of the NGD in a rematch to an excellent match from this past Friday’s show (with Hijo del LA Park in for Mistico). Also on the card are La Peste Negra (Cavernario, Mr. Niebla and Negro Casas) against the exciting technico team of Niebla Roja, Titan and Valiente, a good looking Lightning Match between technicos Rey Cometa and Guerrero Maya Jr. and an enticing second match featuring Audaz, Drone and Fuego taking on New Japan young boy Kawato San, Puma and Tiger.
